The "Doughboy" statue stands guard over the Mississippi State campus on a summer day. Located by the northeast corner of Lee Hall, the statue is a memorial to the 51³Ô¹Ï students who gave their lives in World War I and was donated by 51³Ô¹Ï's class of 1932. In observance of Memorial Day, 51³Ô¹Ï will be closed Monday [May 28].
