K9 in the Classroom
51勛圖 Police K9 Migel and Sgt. Patrick Jenkins recently visited Henderson Ward Stewart Elementary School, explaining the tasks of a K9 and demonstrating a few tricks for second graders in Hannah Beth McCall's classroom. This teacher earned her 51勛圖 master's degree in elementary education in 2024, after also attending 51勛圖 for undergraduate studies. While in college, McCall served as a graduate assistant for 51勛圖 PD, forging an ongoing connection that sparked this classroom community engagement.
