Hi, I'm Alanabeth!
Alanabeth Duncan is an 18-year old multi-instrumentalist from Roxboro, North Carolina. Beginning her bluegrass career at age 9, her dream has been to become a touring musician since playing her first professional gig at 14. Since then, Alanabeth has co-founded two bluegrass ensembles, the Loblollies youth band and fiddle-banjo duo, Parker Duncan. Between the two, she has gotten opportunities to play at venues such as the Vintage Church during the International Bluegrass Music Association Festival, The NC Governor's mansion, MerleFest, The NC State Fair, Beer and Banjos Raleigh, and many more! Alanabeth is also a Deering Banjos endorsed artist, and loves representing Deering every time she plays! Currently, Alanabeth is earning a B.A. in Traditional Music from Morehead State University. Alanabeth is a follower of Christ, and strives to use her gifts to share Him with every person she meets.
